Affordable energy independence for Ark-La-Tex homes

Declare Energy Independence.

Solar generation. Battery storage. Smart backup. One locally designed system built around a simple goal: keeping your family powered without depending entirely on the grid.

How independent do you want to be?

One mission. More than one way to get there.

GridFree Works is not built around selling everybody the same pile of panels. We design the level of resilience, control and independence that actually fits the home and the family.

Level 01

Backup Ready

Protect the loads that matter most when utility power goes down.

  • Critical-load backup
  • Battery storage
  • Automatic transition
  • Expandable design
Level 03

Full Independence

Engineer the home to operate independently for homeowners who want true off-grid capability.

  • Solar + storage sizing
  • Backup generation where appropriate
  • Water / well load planning
  • Long-term maintenance

Solar is a tool. Independence is the product.
Affordable energy independence. Built to work.

GridFree means your family is no longer helpless when the grid isn't there. You may remain connected. You may buy power when it makes sense. But the ability to keep the house running belongs to you.

Designed around the homeLoads, lifestyle, roof, land, well, HVAC, budget and future plans all matter.
Built by people accountable for the resultNo one-size-fits-all sales package followed by a disappearing act.
Maintained for the long haulEnergy independence only makes sense if the system works when your family needs it.
The GridFree system

Built as a complete home-energy system.

Panels alone don't make a home independent. The system has to generate power, store it, decide where it goes, protect the right loads and remain serviceable for decades.

Generate

Solar Power

Right-sized generation based on actual usage, usable roof or ground space, seasonal production and future demand.

Make your own power.
Store + Control

Battery & Energy Management

Store what you produce and intelligently prioritize the loads that keep your household functioning.

Use your power when you choose.
Protect + Maintain

Backup & Service

Where appropriate, integrate backup generation and ongoing maintenance so the system remains ready for the day it is actually tested.

Stay ready after installation day.
How GridFree Works

No pressure. No mystery math. Start with the house.

The first conversation isn't “How many panels can we sell you?” It's “What does energy independence mean for your family?”

01

Assess

Understand the home's actual energy use, outage priorities, future needs and the homeowner's target level of independence.

02

Design

Engineer solar, storage, controls and backup as one coherent system—not disconnected pieces of equipment.

03

Build

Install professionally, commission thoroughly and show the homeowner exactly how the system works.

04

Maintain

Monitor, service and expand the system as needs change. The relationship doesn't end when the crew leaves.

Born for the Ark-La-Tex

Big-city solar sales tactics don't belong here.

GridFree Works is envisioned as a regional company built around straight answers, practical systems and local accountability. We know why rural and small-market homeowners care about power: wells, freezers, HVAC, shops, medical equipment, internet, security and family.

We're not trying to put panels on every roof. We're trying to build the right energy system for every homeowner who wants more control over the power their family depends on.

Initial Service Vision

Launch locally, build a reputation, then expand deliberately across the tri-state region with installation and service capacity that can support the promise.

When is your Independence Day?

The day a GridFree system is commissioned should mean something: the day your home gains the ability to produce, store and control its own power.

Straight answers

GridFree doesn't have to mean “cut the wire.”

For many homeowners, the smartest system keeps utility power available while dramatically reducing dependence on it.

Do I have to disconnect from the power company?

No. “GridFree” is about freedom from dependence, not necessarily physical disconnection. Many homes will make the most sense as grid-connected systems with solar, battery storage and intelligent backup.

Is this just another solar company?

The intended model is broader: whole-home energy independence. Solar may be the primary generation source, but storage, controls, backup generation, EV charging and ongoing service can all be part of the plan.

Does every homeowner need the same size system?

No. A good design begins with the loads, outage priorities, available space, budget and desired level of independence—not a preset package.

Can I start smaller and expand later?

That should be a design objective whenever practical. A homeowner may begin with backup capability and build toward greater independence over time.

Start with a conversation

What would energy independence mean for your family?

Tell us what you want the house to keep doing when the grid doesn't. We'll start there.
